Wadhwa Electric & Tent House

Our place is located in the Adarsh Nagar Tent Market, right at Indira Nagar 8. Being in the tent market means we are always surrounded by poles, heavy fabrics, and rolls of electrical wire. At Wadhwa Electric & Tent House, the work changes depending on the season. When there are a lot of weddings or local festivals happening, we are barely at the shop because we are out setting up stages and lights. It is physical work, hauling the big canvas sheets and making sure the wiring is safely tucked away so nobody trips. When we are back at the shop, we spend our time mending tears in the tents or fixing light fixtures that got banged up at the last event. The shop itself is mostly a storage space filled with stacked chairs and bundles of decorations. It can look a bit chaotic to an outsider, but we know where everything is kept. Adarsh Nagar is a busy area, and there is a lot of competition around here, so we just focus on doing our own thing. We have a few guys who help with the heavy lifting, and we usually start our days quite early to beat the heat. Sometimes we are working late into the night under flashlights to get a site ready for the next morning. It is a lot of sweating and moving things around, but that is just the nature of the tent and electric business.
