Our office is situated at 28/1C in the P & T Quarter on Kali Bari Marg. Being in the 110001 zip code means we are right in the center of New Delhi, surrounded by old government buildings and history. United Advertising & Marketing Services has been operating from this spot for quite a while. The building itself is an older style, the kind with thick walls and high ceilings that stay relatively cool even in the summer heat. We don’t have any of those modern glass partitions or neon lights. It’s just a plain office with some sturdy desks and a lot of filing cabinets that have seen better days. Working on Kali Bari Marg has its own charm. The roads are wide and lined with old trees, which makes the morning commute a bit more pleasant. We aren't a big, flashy agency with a lobby full of awards. We are just a group of people who show up every morning and get through our list of tasks. Sometimes the plumbing gives us trouble or the phones act up, but we just deal with it. We usually send someone out to get chai for everyone in the afternoon, which is a bit of a tradition for us now. It’s a very grounded environment without any of that corporate talk you hear elsewhere. We just focus on our daily business and try to keep things moving along steadily.
