Turman Stores

Located at A 29 in Kalkaji, our store is a familiar sight for the people living nearby. We aren't a huge supermarket, just a local spot where you can grab the things you need without much fuss. The shelves are usually full of everyday items, and we try our best to keep everything in stock, though sometimes the suppliers are late. We spend most of our day unpacking crates and chatting with the neighbors who stop in for a few bits and pieces. It’s a simple routine, and we’ve been doing it for quite some time now. The floor is a bit scuffed and the lighting isn't the brightest, but it feels like home to us. We know which shelf has what, even if it looks a bit cluttered to a stranger. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. There is always something to sweep or a price tag to update. We don't have a big corporate office telling us what to do; we just run the place the way it makes sense for us and the people in Kalkaji. It’s quiet in the mornings and then gets really busy around evening time when everyone is heading home. We just keep the doors open and wait for the next person to walk in. It’s not complicated, and that is exactly how we like to keep things here at Turman Stores.
