Our office is located in Sector 56 of Gurgaon, specifically in the Devinder Vihar complex at B-5009. Gurgaon has changed a lot over the years, turning into a massive hub for all sorts of companies, but our corner feels a bit more like a regular neighborhood. We work on exhibitions, which involves a lot of planning and even more phone calls. The office is a functional space where we keep all our plans and documents. It’s not one of those ultra-modern offices in the high-rise towers you see on the horizon. We prefer it this way because it’s a bit quieter and easier to focus on the task at hand. Most of the time, we are busy coordinating with people who build the stalls or the companies that want to show off their products. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. We’ve been doing this for a while, so we’ve seen how exhibitions have evolved with new technology. Still, the core of the job is just making sure everything arrives on time and is set up correctly for the visitors. We don't have any big slogans or polished marketing materials. We just rely on the fact that we know the industry and we know how to get things done. Sometimes things go wrong, like a truck being late or a display breaking, and we just have to fix it on the fly. That’s just how this business works.
