The Mobile Ocean

The Mobile Ocean is located inside Shipper's Mall at units 35 and 36 in Indirapuram. Being in a mall is different from having a street-side shop. There is always air conditioning and bright lights, which is nice when it is hot outside. We have a lot of glass cases filled with phones and accessories. It gets very busy on the weekends when families come to the mall for a day out. We spend most of our time answering questions about battery life or screen sizes. Units 35 and 36 are right next to each other, so we have a bit more space than some of the other stalls. It is a fast-moving business because people always want the newest thing that just came out. We have a lot of boxes stacked up in the corner because we get deliveries almost every other day. The mall has a certain energy to it, with music playing in the hallways and people walking past all the time. Sometimes we just stand at the entrance and watch the crowd. It is a bit more polished than a local corner shop, but we still try to talk to people like regular folks. We don't use a lot of big words or technical talk if we can help it. It is just about finding a phone that fits someone's pocket and their life. We keep the counters wiped down and the displays neat.
