You can find us at House Number B-127 in Katwaria Sarai. This part of New Delhi is always moving, and being in a residential house makes the whole work environment feel pretty grounded. We’ve got desks squeezed into different rooms, and there’s always a stack of magazines or papers sitting on every available surface. Working for the India Today Group from here means there is always something happening, whether it’s a deadline or just a lot of coordination between different departments. The street outside can get pretty narrow, so parking is always a bit of a headache for anyone visiting. We usually just eat lunch at our desks or go find a quick snack at the little shops nearby. It’s a lived-in space, not one of those shiny glass buildings you see in the newer parts of town. The walls have a few scuffs, and the internet sometimes plays hide and seek, but we make it work. It’s mostly just a group of us trying to keep up with the pace of the news and media world. We don’t have a receptionist or anything fancy; you just knock on the door and someone will eventually look up from their screen to help you. It’s a busy, cramped, but productive little hub where we handle a lot of the backend stuff. We’ve been here long enough that we know the mailman by name, and he knows exactly where to leave the parcels.
