Tata Indicom Exclusive Store

We have been sitting here at Anand Parbat Military Road 388 for quite a while now. The shop is called Tata Indicom Exclusive Store, mostly because that is what we deal with every single day. The street outside gets really dusty when the trucks pass by, and I usually have to wipe down the glass counter twice before noon. It’s just how things go around here. People come in looking for new connections or sometimes they have issues with their phones that they can't figure out. I spend most of my time behind the desk at number 388, just listening to the noise of Military Road. It isn't a fancy place with bright lights or anything like that. We have some chairs for people to sit if they are waiting for a recharge to go through or a bill to get paid. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we just have to wait it out. My cousin helps me out on the weekends when the market gets a bit more crowded than usual. Most of the folks who stop by are from the neighborhood. They know where we are because of the sign outside. It’s been the same for years. We don’t really change much about the shop. The shelves are filled with some old boxes and some new ones, and there is a small calendar on the wall that is always a day behind. It is just a normal shop doing normal work for the people nearby.
