I started this shop, Tarun Telecom, quite a few years back here in Rohini Sector 1 5. It’s a small place, but we keep busy with people coming in for phone recharges or fixing broken screens. Sometimes the internet is slow or a battery just dies, and that’s when folks drop by. My brother helps out on the weekends when it gets extra busy. We’ve seen many phone models come and go, from those old keypad ones to the big touchscreens everyone carries now. Rohini Sector 1 5 is a good spot, plenty of people walking past every day. It gets dusty in the summer, but we keep the fans going and the door open. People mostly know us for being around when they need a quick cable or a new tempered glass. There’s always someone asking about the latest data plans or why their signal is weak at home. We don’t do anything fancy here, just basic repairs and selling stuff like earphones and chargers. It’s a job that keeps us on our toes. The mornings are usually quiet, giving me time to sort out the inventory, but by evening, the shop gets crowded. It’s nice talking to the regulars who live nearby. Sometimes they just stop by to say hello while they’re out for groceries. We keep a stock of different covers because everyone wants their phone to look different. It’s just how it is. We try to get things done as fast as we can, though some repairs take longer if parts are hard to find.
