Tarun Communications

Being located at 41286 in Vikas Nagar, right near the Press Enclave and the Sunday Market in Uttam Nagar, means things get very crowded around here. On Sundays especially, the street is packed with stalls and people, and it becomes quite a task just to get into the shop. Tarun Communications deals with all sorts of things, mostly phones and recharges. The shop itself is quite narrow. I usually keep a few plastic chairs outside for people when the inside gets too cramped. There are wires hanging in a few corners from where we fixed the light fixtures last year. The walls are painted a light blue, though they are starting to peel a bit near the bottom. We have a lot of regular customers who live in the Enclave and they stop by to chat about the local news while they wait for their data plans to activate. I have a small TV in the corner that usually plays the news or some old movies. The desk is always covered in small tools, SIM card packets, and pieces of paper with phone numbers written on them. It can get pretty loud with the market noise, but you get used to the shouting and the music from the vendors. We open early to catch the morning crowd and don't head home until the market starts to thin out. It is just a regular life here in Uttam Nagar.
