Our shop is right in the middle of the Azadpur New Subzi Mandi at C-679/80. If you have ever been to the mandi, you know how loud and chaotic it gets. There are trucks everywhere and people shouting about the price of potatoes or onions. We are tucked away in a small space that we have packed with phone covers and chargers. It’s a tight squeeze inside. Most of our customers are the guys who work in the market. They need phones that are loud and batteries that last a long time because they are out in the sun all day. We sell a lot of recharge vouchers and help people set up their data plans. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we just have to wait. There is a lot of dust from all the crates moving around, so we are constantly wiping down the glass counters. It is a family run spot. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just know we are here. Sometimes we share a meal in the back between customers. It’s a very humble setup. The noise from the auction outside starts early, so we get here before the sun is fully up. We handle what comes our way, whether it’s a broken charging port or a forgotten password. It’s just how life goes in the market every day.
