Sunny Tent & Decorators

Out here in Pitampura at Qu-243, we spend most of our time thinking about how to fit everything into the trucks. Sunny Tent & Decorators is where we do all this work. It’s a lot of heavy lifting. We have different sets of curtains, some lights, and all the wooden frames needed for stages. It’s usually quiet during the weekdays, so we spend that time cleaning the carpets or fixing the decorative bits that got broken at the last event. But when the wedding season comes, it’s a total rush. We’re moving stuff in and out constantly. People from around the neighborhood stop by to ask about prices or to see if we have a specific color of flowers. We aren't really the type to use a computer for everything; most of our notes are on paper scraps near the phone. The shop itself is mostly full of stuff piled up. You have to watch your step. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. We’ve been in this part of Pitampura for a good bit now, so people know our faces. We just do the work, get the tents up, and make sure the lights actually turn on when they’re supposed to. It’s honest work, even if it means we’re often working while everyone else is out celebrating. We just make sure the backdrop looks okay and the chairs are lined up straight enough for the guests to sit.
