Sunny Sound Systems

Sunny Sound Systems is over at A 23 on Mayapuri Road in the Mayapuri Industrial Area Phase II. Being in an industrial area means there’s always a lot of heavy work going on around us. Our unit is a bit of a workspace. You’ll find wires, speakers, and tools all over the place. It’s not the kind of shop where you come to see a fancy display. It’s more of a place where things get fixed or put together. We’ve been at A 23 for a long time. The walls have some marks on them and the floor is a bit rough, but it suits the work we do. Most of the guys here have been working with sound stuff for years. We aren't big on talking; we usually just have our heads down working on a project. The noise from Mayapuri Road is always there in the background. Trucks go by and people are shouting, but we’re used to it. Sometimes we have to move big crates around, which takes a lot of effort. It’s a practical environment. We don’t have a receptionist. If you come in, just shout for someone and one of us will come over from the back. We do things our own way here. It’s a bit messy and loud, but that’s just how a sound shop in Phase II is supposed to be. We stay until the job is done. Often that means working through our lunch break while we finish up a repair.
