Sunil Tent House

Sunil Tent House is right on the main road in Shalimar Bagh, specifically at Br-16 Dda Market. We’re pretty close to the Shalimar Public School, so there’s always a lot of kids and parents around during the day. We’ve been in the tent business for a long time now. It’s heavy work, moving poles and huge sheets of fabric around in the sun. Our shop in the DDA market is where we keep the basics, but most of our stuff is out at sites or in storage. We do tents for all sorts of things, mostly weddings and local functions here in Delhi. It gets really busy during the wedding season, and we barely get any sleep. We’re just a local family-run kind of thing. We don't have a polished sales pitch. If you need a tent, we show you what we have, tell you the price, and get it set up on time. We’ve seen the weather ruin a few setups in our time, so we’ve learned how to tie things down properly. It’s honest work. We know the local shopkeepers and the people who live around Shalimar Bagh. We’ve been part of this community for years, providing the shade and the space for people to celebrate. It’s not fancy, but it’s necessary for a good party. We just try to be reliable and get the tents up before the guests arrive, no matter how hot it is.
