Sunguard Awning

Our little shop, Sunguard Awning, is located at Rohini C-130 Phase-2, over in Vijay Vihar near Avantika. It’s not a very big place, just a workspace where we keep our tools and all the fabric rolls we use. We’ve been around this part of Rohini for a while now. Most days are spent measuring out materials or trying to fix a frame that got bent in the wind. It’s pretty basic work, honestly. We don’t have any fancy showroom or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably see us covered in dust or fiddling with a drill. The sun gets really sharp around here, so people always need something to block it out. We just take the orders as they come and try to get them done. Sometimes the sewing machine acts up and we lose half a day fixing it, which is annoying, but that’s just how things go. We use some old-fashioned methods because they seem to work better than the new stuff. It’s a quiet life for the most part. We know most of the people on the block by now. We don't have a big marketing plan or some fancy vision. We just want to make sure the awnings stay up and do their job. It’s a simple business run by regular people. We hope to stay here for a long time yet because we like the neighborhood and it feels like home.
