You can find us in the middle of the Lajpat Nagar market. It is a small shop that stays pretty packed with all kinds of phone accessories and gadgets. We spend the day dealing with people who have lost their connection or need a new charger because their old one stopped working. The counter is always covered with different types of cables and little plastic packets. Since we are in such a popular market, there is a constant stream of people walking past, and many of them pop in just to ask for directions or to check their mobile balance. It gets quite warm inside when there are more than three or four people standing around. We have a couple of stools behind the counter where we sit when things are slow, but that does not happen very often. Most of the time, we are busy helping someone figure out a setting on their new phone or trying to get a screen protector to stick without any bubbles. The shelves are filled right up to the ceiling with batteries and cases of every color you can think of. We do not have a fancy system; we just know where everything is kept. By the time evening rolls around, the lights of the market are bright and we are usually finishing up the last few recharges for the day. It is a fast-paced environment, but we have gotten used to the noise and the constant questions from the shoppers.
