Our space is filled with all sorts of things for exhibitions. We have rolls of carpet, boards, and bits of wood leaning against the walls. Gali No 3 can get pretty crowded, so getting a vehicle in to load stuff is always a bit of a puzzle. We have to time it just right. The shop is on Krishna Mandir Marg, so we hear the temple bells sometimes, which is a nice break from the noise of hammering. We spend a lot of time painting things or fixing frames that got bumped during transport. There is usually dust on everything despite our efforts to keep it clean. It is a hardworking environment where we are always preparing for the next show. We have a few lights set up so we can see what we are doing in the back corners. It is not a showroom; it is more like a workshop where things get built and torn down. We sit on plastic stools when we take our lunch. The neighbors often stick their heads in to see what we are working on this time. It is just a local business trying to keep up with the busy schedule of the exhibition season in the city. We keep going until the last frame is packed.
