Star Communications

If you are looking for Star Communications, you have to head over to Jamia Nagar. We are at Q 5 on Nafees Road, right in the heart of Batla House. It is a very crowded part of town, so getting here can take a bit of time if the traffic is bad. Our shop is small and usually has a few people standing around waiting for something. We deal with all sorts of communication stuff, mostly phones and recharges and that kind of thing. The Nafees Road area is always buzzing with students and families, so there is never a dull moment outside our door. We have a small counter and a couple of chairs that have seen better days. It gets pretty hot in the summer because the shop doesn't get much of a breeze, but we have a fan that keeps us going. We know most of the other shopkeepers around Batla House and we often share a cup of tea in the afternoons. There is no big marketing team here, just us trying to help people stay connected. Sometimes the system is down and we have to tell people to come back later, which is frustrating for everyone, but that’s just how it goes. We like being part of the Jamia Nagar community. It feels like home even when it's chaotic. We just focus on the work in front of us at Q 5 and try to be helpful to whoever walks in.
