I have been running Sonu Telecom Centre at Saket M-106 for a while now. People usually drop in when their phone screens crack or when they need a quick recharge done. It is not a big fancy place, just a small shop where we keep some basic accessories and cables hanging on the hooks. The neighborhood gets really busy in the evenings, so that is when most people stop by to ask about new data plans or maybe look at a second-hand handset we might have sitting in the glass case. I try to keep things simple here. If a phone is broken and I can fix it right then, I do. If it needs a part from outside, I just tell them it will take a day or two. There is always a bit of dust because of the road right outside, but we wipe the counters down every morning before opening the shutters. Sometimes the tea guy from next door brings over a cup and we just sit for a minute before the next customer comes in. It is just a regular day-to-day business for us. We do not have a big sign or anything, just the name on the board. People know where we are because we have been at this M-106 spot for years. Most of the regulars live right around the corner. If you need a SIM card or just some advice on why your battery is dying fast, you can just walk in.
