Sonu D.J.

Our shop is over on Talabira Road in Old Faridabad. We’re at Shop No. 8, which is really close to the Band Market. If you’re familiar with the area, you know it’s the place to go when you’ve got something big happening. Sonu D.J. is basically a room full of lights, cables, and big black speakers. It’s not a fancy office. Most of the time, the floor has some dust on it from the road outside. We spend a lot of our time checking the gear and making sure the bulbs in the lights aren't blown. During the wedding season, this place is a bit of a madhouse. We’re constantly loading and unloading trucks at all hours. When it’s the off-season, things quiet down and we just sit around the shop, fixing things that broke during the busy months. We don't have a fancy marketing plan. Our name is just painted on the front and people know where to find us. It’s a family-style environment where we all know each other well. Sometimes we have tea with the guys from the Band Market next door. Old Faridabad has a specific feel to it, and we fit right in. We don't try to sound like a big corporate entity. We’re just local people who know how to set up a sound system for a party. We just take things as they come.
