SK Communication is over at Malviya Nagar 15. It’s a decent spot, not too far from the main market area. I’ve been running this place for a few years now. We do all the usual stuff you’d expect from a local phone shop. We sell recharges, fix buttons that don't click anymore, and try to sort out network issues for people. The shop is fairly basic. I have a small counter and some stools for customers who have to wait. Malviya Nagar is always moving, so there is never a dull moment. I see all sorts of people, from students to shopkeepers from around the corner. Sometimes I get phones that have been dropped in water, and those are the hardest to deal with. I spend a lot of time looking through a magnifying glass at tiny circuits. It can be tiring on the eyes, but I like the feeling when a phone finally turns back on. We don't do any big advertising or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most people find us. My brother helps out sometimes when it gets really busy during the festival season. We just try to be fair with our prices and do a clean job. It’s a small business, and we are just trying to make a living like everyone else in this part of town.
