Siyaram Brothers

Siyaram Brothers has been tucked away in Hauz Khas for quite a while now. It is a family thing, me and my brothers working together in this small space. It’s not always easy working with family, we have our arguments about where things should go or how to handle the stock, but we get through it. The shop is filled with all sorts of things, and sometimes it feels a bit cramped. We know where everything is, even if it looks a bit messy to someone walking in from the street. Hauz Khas has changed a lot over the years. It used to be much quieter, but now there are so many new buildings and people around. We just keep doing what we’ve always done. We open the shutters, sweep the front, and wait for the customers. We don't do much advertising. People mostly find us because they live nearby or someone told them about us. It’s a basic setup with a few old wooden counters and some shelves that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time talking to the regulars about the weather or local news. It’s a slow pace compared to the rest of the city. We aren't trying to grow into some huge company. We just want to keep the shop running and look after our family. It’s a simple business, built on just being here every day and doing the work. Usually, we close up late and walk home together.
