Sindwani Tent House & Caterer

Our business is based near the Mitha Pur Chowk in Badarpur. If you know the area, you know it stays pretty busy with trucks and commuters. We do tent work and catering for local events, mostly weddings and small parties nearby. Our warehouse is full of folded up tents, metal poles, and big cooking pots that we’ve used for years. It’s a messy business, honestly. One day we are hauling heavy fabric into a truck, and the next we are cleaning huge cauldrons. The staff is mostly local guys who have been with us for a long time. We don't have a fancy office to show people; we usually just meet them at the site or talk here amidst all the equipment. Catering is hard work because you’re always on your feet and the heat from the stoves is intense. But we’ve got used to it over the years. We don't do any big advertising or anything like that. Word just gets around when someone has a good meal at a function we handled. Sometimes things get hectic during the wedding season and we barely sleep, but then it gets quiet again during the off months. We just try to provide decent food and a solid roof over people's celebrations. It’s a family thing, and we take it one event at a time. The Mitha Pur Chowk area is our home, and we’re happy to stay right here doing what we know.
