Shukla Telecom

Shukla Telecom is just a small corner in Janakpuri at number 63. You might miss it if you’re driving too fast, but the locals know exactly where we are. We started out with just a small desk and a few cables, and now the walls are pretty much covered with every kind of phone accessory you can think of. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when more than three people are inside at once. I usually spend my time sitting behind the glass counter, helping people figure out why their data isn't working or selling them a new pair of earphones because they lost their old ones again. We get a lot of students and office workers from around Janakpuri coming in. The shop is a bit cluttered, but I know where everything is, even the tiny memory cards that always seem to go missing. We don’t bother with big advertisements or flashy lights. Usually, word of mouth is enough to keep us going. The street outside can get pretty loud, especially in the evenings, but we just turn up the radio and keep working. Sometimes people come in just to ask for directions or to get a quick printout done. We don't mind. It’s nice to be the place people go when they have a small tech problem that needs a quick fix without any fuss. We are just here doing our thing day in and day out and seeing who walks through the door next.
