Shubh Tent House

Shubh Tent House is located at A-1649 in Gali No-18, right in the heart of Nathu Colony. It’s a local operation, and we’ve been part of this street for a long time. Our space is filled with stacks of chairs, rolled-up carpets, and all the metal framing needed for putting up tents. It’s a lot of manual labor, mostly loading and unloading stuff from the carts and trucks. Gali 18 is a tight spot, so we have to be careful when we’re moving the long poles around so we don't hit any overhead wires or parked scooters. We don't spend much money on advertising because most people in Nathu Colony just know where we are. If someone has a small gathering or a religious function, they walk over and tell us what they need. We spend our afternoons mending small tears in the cloth or cleaning the chairs before the next job. It’s a very simple setup we have here. There aren't any fancy managers, just a few of us who know how to tie a knot that stays and how to level a stage on uneven ground. We take the work as it comes and try to stay organized, even though the shop gets pretty cluttered during the busier months. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from morning until evening, and we’re fine with that. We just focus on getting the jobs done right.
