Shri Kalka Tent House

Shri Kalka Tent House is located at Kalkaji B -4. Most of our time goes into managing the inventory of chairs, tables, and decorative clothes. It is a busy life here in Kalkaji. We are always preparing for the next booking. You will see us moving large bundles of cloth or checking the lights. The shop is more like a warehouse where everything is stacked according to size. We have been around this area for a long time and know the lanes well. When someone has a function, they drop by to see the colors of the drapes we have. It is mostly hard work and lifting heavy things. We don't have a big marketing plan. Our work speaks through the setups we do in the nearby parks or houses. Sometimes the weather makes it hard, like during the monsoon when we have to keep everything dry. We have a small crew who knows how to tie the knots and set the poles straight. It’s not a fancy business. It’s about being there when people need a stage or a seating area for their guests. We keep a ledger to note down who took what. Most of the people who come here are from the same block or nearby. We just focus on keeping our stuff clean and ready for use. It’s a practical business run by local people who understand the neighborhood.
