Shri Balaji Tent House

You can find Shri Balaji Tent House over at E-144 in B K Dutt Colony, right off Lodhi Road. We’ve been around the colony for a long time now. Most of what we do is lugging heavy poles, canvases, and chairs to different events. It’s hard work, especially when the weather isn't helping, but it’s what we know. During the wedding season, we hardly get any sleep because everyone wants their setup finished at the same time. The warehouse space is always packed with rolls of fabric and stacks of metal frames. We spend a lot of time cleaning the linens and making sure the carpets aren't too worn out. It’s a family-style operation where everyone chips in when things get busy. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. People just know us from word of mouth or by seeing our trucks around Lodhi Road. We’ve seen a lot of celebrations in this neighborhood over the years. Sometimes the clients are picky, and other times they just want something simple that works. We try to be flexible with whatever they need. It’s not a clean job; there’s a lot of dust and heavy lifting involved every single day. But seeing a whole tent go up from nothing is still something we take a bit of pride in. We're just local people doing local work for the folks in our area.
