Shree Balaji Communications

The shop is right on Najafgarh Main Road at number 1493. If you’ve ever been on this road, you know how busy it gets. Shree Balaji Communications is basically where we spend all our daylight hours. It’s a small place, mostly filled with mobile accessories and recharge vouchers. We deal with people coming in all day for phone problems or just to get a new SIM card. It’s never quiet because of the traffic outside. The buses and trucks make the windows shake sometimes. We just sit behind the counter and help whoever walks through the door. Some people are in a huge rush, others want to chat for twenty minutes about their phone battery. We just take it as it comes. Running a communication shop in a place like this means you meet everyone from students to old folks. The tea stall next door is where we get our break when things get too hectic. It’s honest work and we don't try to make it look like something it isn't. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop at 1493. We try to keep the glass clean but the dust from the main road makes it hard. Every evening we count the cash, check the stock, and head home. It’s a routine we’ve had for years now. Najafgarh is a tough place to work sometimes with the heat and the noise, but this is our spot and we’re used to it.
