Shivaji Telecom

Shivaji Telecom is over in Karol Bagh, specifically at W EA 12479. If you know this part of Delhi, you know how busy it gets. We spend most of our time dealing with phones, recharges, and people coming in with cracked screens. It’s not a big shop, just a counter and some shelves with cases and cables. We’ve been at this spot for quite some years. You see the same faces every week, mostly locals or people working in the nearby shops. The noise from the street never really stops. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait for things to load, which can be annoying for customers. We try to keep things simple. If a phone is broken, we look at it. If someone needs a SIM card, we help them get it. There’s no big fancy team here, just us. We keep the ledger on the desk and write down what comes in. Karol Bagh is full of energy, and being at 12479 means we’re right in the middle of it all. The shelves are a bit dusty because of the road construction nearby, but the equipment is clean enough. We don’t really do much advertising. People just know where we are. We close up when the market starts to quiet down, which is usually quite late. It’s a busy life but it keeps us going every day.
