Our shop is at W E A 12844 in Karol Bagh. It’s a busy spot, like most places in this part of Delhi. The building is older, and the entrance is a bit narrow. We have mobile accessories hanging from almost every inch of the walls. Cases, chargers, headphones—you name it, it’s probably stuck in a corner somewhere. It can look a bit messy, but there is a system to it, I promise. We spend a lot of time helping people find the right cover for their phones. Sometimes people come in with screens that are completely smashed, and we have to tell them if it’s even worth fixing. It’s a lot of talking throughout the day. The street outside is always full of shoppers and food stalls. The smell of fried snacks usually drifts in during the evenings, which makes us all hungry. We have one old ceiling fan that makes a clicking noise, but it keeps the air moving. We don't have a big corporate strategy. We just open up in the morning, sweep the front, and wait for the first customer. It's a simple life. We have a small wooden desk where we do the repairs under a bright desk lamp. Sometimes we run out of change and have to go to the shop next door to ask for some hundreds. That's just how the neighborhood works.
