We have been around here at house number 233 in Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar for a while now. It’s a busy part of Hakikat Nagar. Most days we are just busy sorting out poles, fabrics, and the various bits and pieces that go into making a space look right for whatever is happening. Sharma Tent & Decorators is just a small team of us working from this spot. People usually stop by when they have something coming up. The street can get a bit crowded with all the stuff moving in and out, but that’s just how it is. We spend a lot of time checking the inventory and making sure everything is clean and ready to go. Living and working in Hakikat Nagar means you get to know everyone on the block pretty well. We aren't doing anything fancy, just the basic work of setting up for neighbors and local folks. Sometimes the weather makes it hard, especially when it’s windy or raining, but we just get on with it. If you walk down towards Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar, you will find us easily enough at 233. It’s not a big office or anything, just where we keep all our supplies and get our work done every morning. We start early and stay late most days. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting heavy things and climbing ladders, but it keeps us busy. That is pretty much our daily life here.
