Sharma Telecom Center

Our little shop, Sharma Telecom Center, is located at Tughlakabad Extension, specifically at Rz 11314. If you know the area, it is tucked in among a lot of other small businesses and houses. The street is always full of life, especially in the evenings when everyone is out buying groceries. We spend most of our time behind the wooden counter, surrounded by coils of wire and boxes of old phone parts. It is a bit cluttered, but we know exactly where the spare batteries and chargers are kept. We don't really have a big team or anything, just a couple of us who take turns being here. Sometimes the neighbor from the tea stall brings over some snacks and we sit and talk for a bit when it’s quiet. We handle basic things like SIM cards, talk time recharges, and sometimes fixing a cracked screen if it’s not too complicated. The floor is a bit uneven and the lighting isn't the brightest, but it serves the purpose. We see the same faces every week, mostly local residents who have lived in Tughlakabad for generations. It is a steady way of life. We don't go in for big advertisements or loud music to attract people. The shop name on the board is enough. We just open up, stay till dark, and help whoever walks through the door with their mobile issues. Sometimes we run out of change, so we have to ask people to go to the grocery store next door to break a big note.
