Shakti Tent & Decorators

We spend most of our time out on the road or setting up poles in Sector 16. Being over at A 5/45 means we are right in the middle of things in Rohini. Most people see us when there is a wedding or some big party happening. Shakti Tent & Decorators isn't a big corporate thing, it’s just us and a few guys who know how to handle the heavy fabrics and the metal frames. It’s physical work. We get sweaty and tired, especially during the summer months when everyone wants their events done. Our storage is packed with chairs, curtains, and all sorts of decorations that have seen a lot of use. We fix things as they break and try to keep the colors looking okay. It’s a lot of loading and unloading trucks at odd hours of the night. Sometimes we are still working when the sun comes up. Neighbors probably don't love the noise we make with the poles, but that’s the business. We’ve been around this area for a long time and know the streets pretty well. If you come by the office, you might not find anyone there because we are usually out at a site. We just keep our stuff here and move out whenever someone needs a tent put up. It’s simple work but it's what we do every day. We aren't trying to be anything special, just making sure the setup is ready on time.
