Shagun Tent Decorators

Our place is at 31/28 in Trilokpuri, over by Mayur Vihar Phase 1. Shagun Tent Decorators isn't a fancy office. It is more like a big storehouse where we keep all the poles, the heavy cloth, and the chairs. When someone in the neighborhood has a wedding or a small function, they come to us. We spend a lot of time loading things onto trucks and then taking them down again. It's physical work. Trilokpuri is a crowded place and getting the trucks in and out of the lane can be a real headache. We have been at 31/28 for a long time. You can usually find us sitting outside on some of the stacked chairs when we aren't out at a job. The fabrics need a lot of washing and looking after because they get dirty at the events. We don't have a big marketing plan. People just know we are here because they see the tents we put up around Mayur Vihar. It gets very busy during the wedding season, and then we hardly get any sleep. In the off-season, we just do maintenance and fix the broken stuff. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. The neighborhood knows where to find us when they need a bit of shade or some seating for a party.
