Samir Watch & Mobile Shop

Samir Watch & Mobile Shop is at Uttam Nagar, Kiran Garden, on Matiyala Road, B-5. It’s a small place right on the edge of the road, so there is always the sound of horns and engines in the background. If you look in the window, you’ll see rows of watches and some mobile accessories hanging on the walls. We spend most of our time sitting at a small desk with a bright lamp, looking into the back of a watch or trying to pry open a phone case without scratching it. It takes a lot of patience and our eyes get tired by the end of the day. The shop gets quite a lot of dust from the road, so we are constantly wiping down the glass counters. People stop in to get a new battery for their wrist watch or to ask about a screen protector for a new phone they just bought. We have a lot of regulars from around Kiran Garden who just pop in to say hello or ask for a quick fix. It’s a simple life. We don't have a big fancy staff, just us behind the counter. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for a part to arrive, and we just keep the customer’s item in a small labeled drawer until then. It’s a quiet, steady kind of work in the middle of a loud neighborhood, and we like the routine of it.
