Our place is at B/9 Baba Banda Bahadur Appts in Sector 14, Rohini. It’s right here in Delhi. We are Sakaal Group Of Publications. Most days, it’s just a bunch of us working on various printing and publishing projects. Rohini is a pretty busy spot, and the traffic outside can be a bit much sometimes, but inside we just try to get the work done. We’ve been here for a while now. The office isn’t anything fancy. It’s got desks, a lot of paper stacked up, and a coffee machine that works when it wants to. We don’t really do big meetings or anything like that. We just focus on the books or magazines or whatever is on the schedule for that week. Sometimes the courier guys get lost trying to find the specific block, so one of us has to go down and wave them over. It’s a very local feel. We know the people in the other apartments. We aren’t a huge corporate office with glass walls. We’re just a publishing group that’s been doing this for years. The Delhi heat gets to the office in the summer, so the fans are always going. We don’t have any big slogans. It is just about getting the pages printed and sent out to whoever needs them. It’s a simple life and a simple way of working, really. We just take it day by day and hope for the best with our deadlines. No fuss.
