Saini Flowers

You can find us at Shop No.4 in the Aritpuram Maerket, over in Jagat Farm. It is a busy little corner of Greater Noida, especially since we are so close to Pragyan School. Every morning starts early, usually before the sun is even up, because that is when the fresh loads come in. The shop smells like damp earth and roses most of the time, which isn't a bad way to spend the day. We spend a lot of time trimming leaves and putting things into water. It is a bit messy, with thorns poking us and water spilling on the floor. People come in for all sorts of reasons, sometimes for a happy occasion and sometimes not. We just wrap the stems in paper and tie them up with string. The market gets crowded in the evenings, so we are usually hopping around trying to help everyone at once. We don't have a website or anything fancy; we just stay here at the shop and talk to whoever walks in. It is a simple life, really. We have got buckets lined up and some old scissors that have seen better days. It is just us, the flowers, and the people of Noida passing by. We try to keep things fresh and simple, just like the plants we sell. It is hard work on the hands, but we have been doing it a long time now.
