Sai Telecom & Stationers

Down here in Green Park, specifically at 2/30-B, we run Sai Telecom & Stationers. It’s a bit of a mix because we have the phone stuff on one side and all the pens and notebooks on the other. The students from the nearby schools come in all the time looking for specific registers or just a blue pen because they lost theirs again. It gets a bit chaotic when a bunch of kids walk in at once, but we manage. The shelves are packed with everything from staplers to recharge vouchers. We’ve been at this spot for a long time, and the locals know us by name. Sometimes people just stop in to chat about the weather or the traffic on the main road. The light in the back of the shop is a little dim, but we know where everything is kept. If someone needs a photocopy or a quick printout, we handle that too, even if the machine acts up sometimes and needs a little kick to get going again. It’s a small space, so things can get cluttered, especially when new stock arrives on Tuesday mornings. We try to keep things simple and just provide what people in the neighborhood are looking for every day. It’s not fancy, just a regular shop with a lot of stuff shoved into the corners. We like being part of the Green Park community and seeing the same faces year after year. We usually close up for a bit in the afternoon for a quick nap or some tea.
