Sai Jyoti Mobile Gallery

Vinod Nagar East is where I spend my whole day. The shop is at E 12 and it’s called Sai Jyoti Mobile Gallery. It’s a small space, but we’ve got enough room for a display case and a couple of stools. Most of the time, I’m sitting here helping someone figure out why their phone isn’t charging or selling a new case. The street outside E 12 is usually busy with people going to work or coming back home. It’s a friendly area. I know most of the people who live in this part of Vinod Nagar East. Sometimes they just stop by to say hello even if they don’t need anything for their mobile. The lights in the shop are a bit bright so people can see the screens properly. I try to keep the glass clean, but fingerprints are everywhere by the end of the day. It’s a lot of small tasks, like putting on screen protectors without getting any bubbles under the plastic. That takes a steady hand. I have a small radio that plays music in the background to keep things lively. There isn't any big corporate plan here. We just open the doors at E 12 and see who comes in. It’s just me and the phones and the people of the neighborhood. It's a simple way to make a living.
