Sadaf Communication

You can find Sadaf Communication at Okhla Batla House Chowk, number 1563. This part of Okhla is always moving, and the chowk is right in the middle of it all. My shop is a small unit, but it’s always got someone standing in the doorway. We do a lot of recharges and phone repairs here. The address 1563 is just a number on a wall, but to me, it’s where I spend twelve hours a day. I have a small counter and a couple of plastic chairs for people to wait. Often, the chairs are taken by friends just hanging out and talking. It gets very hot in the summer, and the small fan I have doesn't do much, but we survive. I’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but the need for a working phone stays the same. I handle a lot of second-hand phones too, buying and selling them when I can. My ledgers are hand-written and a bit messy, but I know where everything is. People from Batla House come here because it’s convenient and I don't give them a hard time. It is a simple operation. No big computers or fancy systems, just me and my tools and the constant noise from the street outside. It’s a busy life, but it keeps me occupied.
