S S R Communication & Satationery is located in the DDA Market in Navjeevan Vihar, Malviya Nagar, at number 10. We have a bit of an odd mix here because we handle both phone stuff and stationery. You might see a stack of notebooks right next to a pile of mobile chargers. It happened because people in the neighborhood kept asking for pens and paper, so we just started keeping them. The shop is quite narrow, and we have to be careful when we move around so we don't knock anything over. There is a large window at the front, but it's mostly covered with posters for mobile networks and some sample charts for kids. Malviya Nagar is a busy place, but Navjeevan Vihar feels a little bit quieter. We get a lot of school kids coming in for folders and pencils in the afternoon, and then their parents might come by later for a mobile top-up. We don't have any corporate training or fancy uniforms. We just wear what is comfortable and talk to people like they are our neighbors, because most of them are. The wooden shelves are getting a bit old and they creak sometimes when we put a heavy box on them. We don't mind the clutter; it makes the place feel lived in. It’s just a simple neighborhood store where we try to keep the things people actually need on a daily basis. We are here from morning until late evening, just doing our thing as best as we can.
