S Mishra & Sons Communication is located at 1666A in the Govindpuri Extension. This is a family-run business, and we have been in this specific spot for quite a few years now. My sons and I take turns behind the counter throughout the day. It started out as just a small place for phone recharges, but over time we added more services as phones got more complicated for people to use. The shop is often filled with the smell of tea and the sound of the small radio we keep in the corner for some background noise. We have a lot of regular customers who have been coming to us since their very first mobile phone. They trust us because we tell them honestly if a phone is worth fixing or if it’s time to just get a new one. We keep a variety of spare parts in the wooden cabinets against the wall. It’s not the most modern looking shop, with the old paint and the mismatched chairs, but it serves the purpose for the neighborhood. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. Word of mouth in the extension is how most people find us. Sometimes we stay open a bit later if a neighbor has an emergency with their phone. It is just about being part of the community here. We take pride in knowing the history of the devices people bring to us.
