S l Music has its spot in Mahalaxmi Market, right on Hapur Road in Modi Nagar. It's a busy place, especially on weekends when the market gets crowded with shoppers. We sell all sorts of instruments and things for people who like music. Some days it’s quiet and we just sit and tune the guitars, and other days it’s a bit of a madhouse with kids wanting to try out the drums. We aren't a big chain store, just a local shop where we know many of the faces coming through the door. The shop has been here for a bit, and we’ve seen the market change around us. We have harmoniums, some keyboards, and strings for guitars. If something isn't in stock, we try to get it from our regular suppliers in a week or so. The walls are covered in posters and instruments hanging on hooks. It's a bit cramped inside but that's part of the charm I guess. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team, just the sign outside on Hapur Road. Most people find us because their friend told them about us. We try to help people pick out what they need without making it complicated. If you're walking through Mahalaxmi Market, you’ll probably hear someone testing out a speaker or a flute from our doorway. It’s just what we do every day. It’s a good way to spend the time, surrounded by music and talkative customers. We keep it simple and honest here, and that seems to work for the folks in Modi Nagar.
