S K Music Corner

S K Music Corner is situated at 1346 Qutab Road in Sadar Bazar. If you know Sadar Bazar, you know how packed it gets. Qutab Road is always humming with people and carts moving back and forth. Our shop is tucked in there among all the other businesses. We have been here for years, dealing with all kinds of music stuff and small electronics. The walls are lined with speakers and old wires. It’s not a quiet place because we usually have something playing to show it works. The air smells like old paper and electronics. Number 1346 is a sturdy old building. We have a small counter where we stand most of the day. Sadar Bazar is the kind of place where you have to watch your step. We see wholesalers and regular folks looking for a deal. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit on the steps until it comes back. We don't have a big sign, just the name S K Music Corner. It’s a family thing, mostly. We take turns sitting at the front. The floor gets dirty from the street dust but we sweep it out every evening. It’s a lot of work keeping track of all the small parts we sell. Qutab Road is busy from dawn till dusk. We just fit into the rhythm of the market and keep going day after day.
