If you’ve walked down Kolhapur Road 4 in Kamla Nagar lately, you’ve probably seen S K Communications. It’s a busy part of the city, and we’re right in the middle of it. We started this shop a few years back because there was a gap for a straightforward mobile service point. We deal with all the usual stuff like screen guards, chargers, and getting people back online when their phones act up. Kamla Nagar has a lot of energy, and being on Kolhapur Road means we see a lot of students and local families every day. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small when three or four people are waiting at the counter, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest store around. We just want to make sure if someone comes in with a broken charging port, they leave with it fixed properly. The weather gets really hot in the summer, and the fan in here doesn't always keep up, but we keep working through it. It’s a simple life running a communication shop. You talk to a lot of people, hear their stories, and try to fix their gadgets. We don't use any fancy software to track things, just a notebook and some patience. Being a local business means we know most of the people who walk through the door. It’s nice to have that connection. We stay open pretty late because that’s when people need us most.
