S D Communications

I started S D Communications over at Tekhand Gola Kuan because this is where I live. The shop is at A 54/1 and it’s a pretty busy spot most days. People around here in Tehkhan know where we are. It’s not a fancy place, just a small counter and some chairs. I spend most of my time behind the desk checking phones or talking to neighbors who drop by. The Gola Kuan area gets quite crowded in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside so I’m always cleaning the glass. I didn't want to work in a big office so I opened this. It’s better being your own boss even if the hours are long. My family helps out sometimes when things get hectic. We have a lot of regular faces coming in for recharges or just to ask about new plans. The sign outside is a bit faded now but everyone knows the location. I try to keep things simple here. There’s a tea stall just around the corner and that’s where I get my morning chai. Life in Tekhand is fast but we manage to keep up. I like that I can walk to work. It’s just a basic shop for the local people here. Nothing more, nothing less. Usually, I close up around 9 PM once the street starts to get a bit quieter.
