About Royal Communications Point – Telecom in Delhi
Our little shop is right near the Shiv Mandir at Mori Gate. It’s a small space, number 3104, and it gets pretty crowded when three or four people come in at once. We mostly deal with phone recharges and basic mobile repairs. The bells from the temple next door are always ringing, which is nice, though it can get loud during the evening prayers. We started this place because we knew people in the neighborhood needed a spot to fix their screens or get a new SIM card without traveling too far. Most days are spent sitting behind the counter, peeling off old screen guards or trying to explain why a battery isn't holding a charge anymore. The light inside isn't great, but we have a good lamp for the small work. We keep a stash of different cables and chargers because people always seem to lose theirs. Sometimes the kids from the street come in just to ask questions about the latest phones. We don't mind. It’s a bit of a squeeze with all the boxes of accessories stacked up, but we know where everything is. It’s just a normal shop in a busy part of the city. We try to get things done quickly so people can get back to their day. Mori Gate is always moving, and we are just one small part of that. We usually close up once the temple crowd thins out for the night and the street gets a little quieter.
