Rounak Watch & Electronics

Rounak Watch & Electronics is located in R K Puram Sector 4 at number 30. It’s a corner that’s seen a lot of people come and go. We deal with watches of all kinds, mostly the ones with needles but some digital ones too. We also have small electronics like radios or little fans. The shop has shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling. It’s a bit of a squeeze to get around sometimes. My father started this place a long time ago and I just kept it going. We spend a lot of time under a magnifying glass looking at tiny gears and batteries. It’s quiet work compared to the traffic outside. People bring in old watches that belonged to their grandfathers hoping we can make them tick again. Sometimes we can, sometimes we can’t. We don't promise anything we can't do. There’s a specific smell of machine oil in the air here. We don't have fancy uniforms or a polished floor. It’s just a workspace. We get a lot of students from nearby schools coming in for cheap digital watches. We also fix small household electronics when they break down. It’s a steady pace of life. We close up exactly at eight every night to head home. It's a simple business but it keeps us busy and we like the people who stop by to talk.
