Roshan Tent House

Roshan Tent House has been in Jeevan Park, Uttam Nagar for a good while. Our shop is right where most of the locals walk by. We have a lot of stuff piled up in the back, from old wooden benches to the newer folding chairs. People come to us when they have a birthday, a wedding, or even just a small prayer at their house. We don't do anything too fancy, just the standard tent setups that people need. It is a lot of back-breaking work, honestly. We are constantly loading and unloading the rickshaws and small trucks. Uttam Nagar is always crowded, so getting the gear through Jeevan Park can be a bit of a headache during peak hours. We usually sit outside on the stools when it’s not too busy, just waiting for the next order to come in. My father started this, and now I mostly handle the day-to-day stuff. We know the neighbors and they know us. If a family is going through a hard time, we try to be flexible with them. It’s not about having a big brand. We just provide the tents and the seating so people can have their events. The fabric needs washing often, and the pipes need painting every now and then. We keep ourselves busy with all that. It’s just us doing our thing here in the neighborhood without much fuss. We try to keep the gear in decent shape for the next person.
