Our shop is right by the Loni Road Band Fatak in Uttaranchal Colony. Being near the railway crossing means we get a lot of people stopping in while they wait for the train to pass. It’s a dusty spot on Sangam Road, and the shop is usually covered in a thin layer of it by noon. We focus a lot on the repairing side of things. I’ve spent many hours under a magnifying lamp trying to solder tiny parts back together. It’s honest work, even if it’s frustrating when a part doesn’t fit quite right. We have a lot of regular customers from Bheta and the nearby colonies who trust us with their cracked screens. We keep a stock of common displays and batteries so people don't have to wait for days. The shop isn't very large, and the shelves are crowded with old phone boxes and broken components we keep for spares. Sometimes the noise from the trains is so loud you can't hear the customer talking, but we just wait a minute and then continue. It’s a local business through and through. We don't have any fancy marketing or polished signs, just a hand-painted board outside. We just show up every morning, open the shutter, and see what kind of broken gadgets the day brings us.
