R.K. Telecom

R.K. Telecom has its home at Jahangirpuri B-1820. It is a straightforward mobile shop where we spend our days doing the usual stuff like selling talktime, fixing broken charging ports, and helping people set up their new devices. The area here in Jahangirpuri is always moving, and our shop is no different. I usually have the news playing on a small TV in the corner while I work on a customer's phone. The space at B-1820 isn't very large, so we have to be smart about how we stack the boxes of headphones and phone covers. It is mostly me here, though sometimes a friend will sit with me to help pass the time when business is slow. We don't have any corporate training or fancy uniforms, just regular clothes and a bit of knowledge about how these gadgets work. If a screen is cracked, we can usually swap it out by the next day depending on if we have the part in the back room. The lighting inside is a bit bright because I need to see the tiny screws, but it makes the shop stand out on the street at night. We have been at this address for a long time, and R.K. Telecom has become a place where people just drop in to ask for directions or check their balance. It is just a local business doing local things without any of the big city polish.
